In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 news and magazines apps in Sweden displayed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Expressen Nyheter experienced a notable peak in weekly downloads during the week of February 21, reaching approximately 6.8K, followed by a higher peak of around 8.8K in the final week of February. Weekly revenue for the app showed a general upward trend, peaking at around $44.6K in mid-March. Active users varied throughout the quarter, with a significant rise to about 352K in the week of February 21.

Readly Magazines & Newspapers saw a more stable pattern. Weekly revenue peaked at roughly $27.7K at the end of February. Downloads, however, showed a declining trend, starting from around 1K in early January and dropping to approximately 279 by the end of March.
